Description
John Baldessari (American, 1931-2020).
This portfolio consists of eight color photographs with hand-painted, acrylic circles. The photographs are snapshots of familiar scenes taken by the artist in his hometown of National City, just south of San Diego. Baldessari applied paint directly to the photos to remove what he saw as flaws.
Custom wood frames with white finish and UV filter acrylic.
