Poster for the animated Disney short cartoons entitled Silly Symphony starring Mickey Mouse.

In the 1930s, it was usual for French cinemas to choose a number of short films to be shown before the main feature. Stock posters enabled the individual cinemas to add their own text in the blank box to advertise what would be shown. This particular program was forty minutes of shorts with Mickey, comments on color animation and how to create animated designs, Donald's Nephew, The Good and the Bad and Pretty Little Elves.
