Cubes is an etching by American conceptual artist Mel Bochner. The large horizontal work presents an interlocking grid of three-dimensional cube forms rendered in tonal passages of red, orange, and brown, exploiting the optical illusion of reversible perspective characteristic of Bochner's systematic investigations of form and space.
