Nike Jordan 1 Retro High Matty Boy Court Purple | Size 10

From artist -turned-Chrome Hearts creative director Matt Digiacomo – colloquially known as “Matty Boy” – comes the Nike x Matty Boy Jordan 1 Retro High Court Purple. Commissioned and designed directly out of Matty Boy’s Chrome Hearts art and design studio, these hand-painted Jordans feature cartoon-like details, notably checkered black and white squares, and text reading “HELP” and “TOUCH” on the sneakers’ lateral heels. Chrome Hearts commissions are incredibly rare and are individually made for clients.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 is one of the most iconic designs in the history of both streetwear and basketball and is a key part of the origin of the Air Jordan brand for Nike. Designed by Peter Moore, Air Jordan 1s were worn by Michael Jordan in 1984 and 1985, as well as modified versions in 1986 (after a broken foot Michael endured).
