- Hand-signed and numbered.
- This work is presented unframed.
This original etching is hand-colored by the artist in watercolor. It is signed in pencil "M. Ch." in the lower right margin. It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 100, in the lower left margin.
Each one of the 100 impressions was hand painted by Chagall in watercolor, making each impression a unique work.
This etching is part of the The Bible series and was printed by Raymond Haasen, Paris in 1958 in a limited edition of 100 hand-coloured impressions. It is one the 105 images that Chagall created for this important series published by Tériade, Paris.
