Longines is a brand that has been around for over a century. It was founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832 who, along with his nephew Ernest Francillon, brought some of the most innovative watches into our world. This company has been a subsidiary of the illustrious Swiss Swatch Group since 1983. This Heritage 1951 reference L2.745.4.73.2 is a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with chronograph and date, circa 2014, polished stainless steel case. Metallic silver dial with contrasting silver sub-dials. Luminous Arabic numeral hour markers. Luminous filled hour & minute hands and painted minutes & seconds track. Chronograph function: large central seconds counter. Minute counter sub-dial located at the 3 o'clock position. Hour counter sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position. Case back prominently engraved with "LONGINES HERITAGE 1951", no. Longines caliber 683, 28800 vph, contains 27 jewels. Approximately power reserve of 42 hours. This watch comes with paper and box.
Condition Report
GoodCase is in overall good condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has moderate signs of scratches. Crystal has moderate signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case-back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
