Description
A presentation of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, inscribed by the author.
An interesting presentation copy as nearly all presentation copies are to little girls. The recipient was the illustrator John Orlando Parry. Parry had issued some illustrated limericks much in the manner of Lear, of which Dodgson would likely have approved, and his comic works were well regarded at the time. There exists a photograph of Parry taken by Dodgson.
