Referenced and pictured in the artist's catalogue raisonne by Cramer (323).

Moore was invited to illustrate a group of French poets selected by the French President at the time, Georges Pompidou.

This print accompanied by the quote by Victor Hugo: "Ils parlent a la solitude. Et la solitude comprend."
