A substantial watercolor on Arches paper showing a house nestled on a bluff overlooking the variegated blue-grey waters of the Atlantic Ocean.


The youngest artist ever to be elected to membership of the American Watercolor Society, Sisson was born in Boston and studied at the Yale Summer School. Sisson exhibited widely and with success and was the recipient of numerous prizes, medals and juried awards. His work may be found in the permanent collections of museums nationwide, including the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) and the Portland Museum of Art (Maine).
