Description
Movado was founded in 1881 and is known for its unique design and high-quality watch mechanisms. While today, many are familiar with Movado's museum dial, Movado's watchmaking history was just as groundbreaking dating back to the early 1900s. The Kingmatic collection was released in the 1950s and saw several iterations. Inspired by mid-century modern design, this collection easily became Movado's longest-selling collection.
Honest Vintage: The Greg Selch Collection
A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.

Bracelet has moderate signs of stretch and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall fair condition. Hands are showing signs of wear. Crystal has minor signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
