A signed and inscribed first edition, first printing of The Day of the Triffids.

- The author’s signature is inscribed ‘To Tony V. Cooper with the best wishes of John Wyndham, (John Benyon Harris). 22-8-51,’ located on the front fly leaf.
- Bound in the original publisher’s cloth, with silver foil titling, with the iconic Patrick Gierth dust wrapper, accompanied by the rare Daily Graphic wrap-around band. Overall, this is a very good (or better) copy of a fine, scarce signed title.
