My father, Chris Impey, worked with The Beatles photographer Robert Freeman in the early sixties. He was involved in various Beatles related projects. These included typography for John Lennon’s two books ‘In His Own Write’ and ‘Spaniard In The Works’; title lettering and artwork for Freeman’s idea for the ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ LP cover and for the ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ film poster, along with various other souvenir Beatles programmes etc.
