Description
Concert poster for the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival held in September 1969.
- Although not listed on the poster, John Lennon and Yoko Ono appeared as the Plastic Ono Band with lineup including Eric Clapton on guitar, Klaus Voormann on bass and Alan White on drums.
- Their performance was recorded and later featured on the Plastic Ono Band Live Peace In Toronto, album which was released on Apple Records three months after the event.
- The Doors were considered the headliners; other acts included Chicago Transit Authority, Alice Cooper, Junior Walker & the All-Stars, Tony Joe White, Cat Mother & The All-Night Newsboys, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Bo Diddley and Gene Vincent.
