A first edition, first printing set of The Karla Trilogy by John Le Carré, comprised of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Honorable Schoolboy, and Smiley’s People, all signed by the author.

  • Each is signed by the author on the title page.


The first volume was the basis for the 1970s series starring Sir Alec Guinness and latterly the excellent motion picture featuring Gary Oldman. All books were signed at Hatchards in 2018.

All now protected in Brodart wrappers.

Tinker Tailor is not price clipped, has a small thin stain to the foot of the inside of the wrapper and no inscriptions in the book, some light spotting to the page edges and prelims.

The Honourable Schoolboy is near fine – the dust jacket is not price clipped and has a little wear to the spine tips.

Smiley’s People – Some light spotting to the endpapers, dust jacket not clipped.
