Description

A Japanese glazed stoneware vase from the Meiji period.

  • Made in the Tanba area since the 12th century, these ceramic and stoneware vessels are coveted due to the naturally occurring glaze which can cover the pieces, creating a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
  • Bulbous form with a flared round neck, covered in green dripped glaze running from olive green to shades of dark celadon.
