Description
Lacquered tray with beveled corners from the later Edo period.
- Decorated with a very fine tatamaki-e and maki-e of flowers and a butterfly over nashiji.
- Iridescent detailing to center of large flower.
Condition Report
GoodOverall very good condition with small retouched areas to the side and to rim.
Minor chips to bottom edge with some visible cracking to lacquer along the bottom edge.
