Modèle précoce du légendaire Kelly, encore désigné à l’époque comme Sac à dépêches, rendu iconique par la princesse Grace de Monaco dans les années 1950.
Ce modèle rare précède la standardisation du Kelly en 1977. Production artisanale, très peu d’exemplaires subsistent avec cette combinaison de matériaux. Le combo toile et cuir naturel est emblématique des sacs d’après-guerre jusqu’aux années 60.

An early model of the legendary Kelly, still referred to at the time as Sac à dépêches, made iconic by Princess Grace of Monaco in the 1950s.
This rare model preceded the standardisation of the Kelly in 1977. Produced by hand, there are very few surviving examples with this combination of materials. The combination of canvas and natural leather was emblematic of post-war bags until the 1960s.
Condition Report
GoodGood vintage condition. Oxidation to hardware. Patina and wear to the leather and hardware consistent with age. Clean interior with signs of use. Crack marks at some places. Canvas exterior remains well preserved. Corner wear.
