Description
In 1973, Guy Ellia apprenticed as a diamantaire in Antwerp, meeting the famous diamond cutter Gabriel Tolkowsky. In 1994, he bought a small company, allowing him to open a shop in the diamond quarter of Paris on the Rue de La Fayette. With his rich diamond-cutting experience, he began a new line of business with his first jewelry design order from La Place Vendôme. In 1999, Guy Ellia established his own brand name in the world of high jewelry and watch design, gaining notice in Eurasian countries by 2003 and crossing the Atlantic in 2007.
This Time Square reference OJ TS 2315L V6 CONVEX is a yellow gold quartz watch, circa 2010, 18K yellow gold case with diamond, brown alligator strap with pin buckle. Quartz movement cal. PGE 820 (by Frederic Piguet), water resistance approximately 20 meters.
Condition Report
GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. Case is in overall good condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time. The battery may need replacing at the buyer's discretion.
