Description
Founded in 1791, Girard-Perregaux is one of the oldest fine watchmaking manufacturers still in operation in Switzerland today. Girard-Perregaux's history is dotted with exceptional creations that bridge aesthetics and functionality to reveal the value of time. These include the iconic Laureato, created in 1975, as well as the Tourbillon "With Three Gold Bridges" which made the invisible visible, transforming bridges from just a technical element to an integral part of the timepiece, a first in watchmaking.
Since 1860, Constant Girard worked on the movement architecture in addition to technical and finishing details. He thus developed the famous parallel "Three Bridges" under which the mechanism was aligned. This Triple Bridge Tourbillon with a self-winding system that keeps the tourbillon fully wound if worn at least 14 hours a day. This is platinum with a black alligator strap, a skeletonized "Three Bridges" dial, with hours and minutes, water resistance 30m and power reserve 48 hours. This watch comes with original papers only.

The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
