Description

George IV sterling silver tea caddy.

  • Made by Charles Fox II in London in 1833.
  • Rectilinear with chamfered corners, reeded base and stepped top.
  • Push-and-slide panel at bottom.
  • Neck short and straight, and cover domed with ball finial.
  • Chased and engraved scallop shells, leaves and flowers.
  • Fully marked.
