Description

A Froment-Meurice silver gilt toilet set commissioned for the Russian market.

  • Sold as a set of 6.
  • Includes a pair of perfume bottles, two tall lidded round boxes, one large rectangular box and a hand mirror.
  • Perfume bottles are cut crystal with silver base and lid with stopper.
  • All with acorn finial, applied foliate motif, fluting, and reeded and beaded edge.
  • Applied rose swags to round boxes.
  • Mirror is backed with mahogany and further adorned with ribbon and medallion with coat of arms at top.
  • Froment-Meurice, French and Russian hallmarks.
