Description
The manufacturer was founded in Geneva by Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes to create exclusive timepieces characterized by complicated movements and original designs. In October 2002, Franck Muller was granted first prize in the Genève Watchmaking Grand Prix.
Franck Muller watches became easily identifiable thanks to their Cintrée Curvex shape that is commonly recognized as the brand’s most significant silhouette. For the brand, it quickly became a great success and a way to express its unique identity, assert its DNA and demonstrate its know-how in case manufacturing. This Sunset reference 5850 SC is a white gold automatic wristwatch, circa 2000, with automatic caliber 2800 movement. 18K white gold polished case and buckle. Central second with black dial guilloché sun rays.

GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. Case is in overall good condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
