  • Extra illustrated, with the insertion of 37 additional plates, many of which are hand-colored.
  • Bound in full tan morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, covers ruled and paneled in gilt, gilt corner pieces, front cover with oval portrait miniature of Rousseau under glass, rear cover with a gilt maroon morocco arabesque center panel, gilt dentelles, brown silk morie doublures and endpapers, all edges gilt, housed in a brown cloth open-ended slipcase, by Bayntun.
