- Hand-painted botanical motifs with gold teeth rims.
- Each piece is labeled underneath with the Latin name of the flower depicted in the design.
- Platter purchased in Copenhagen with tiny chip to one of the teeth, so marked as a second; others acquired by Sotheby's.
- Crafted by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark, 20th century.
- Collection commissioned in 1790 by King Christian VII of Denmark for Empress Catherine the Great of Russia.
