Description

The Explorer 1655 is often referred to by the nickname "Freccione" (Italian for "arrow"), thanks to its very prominent arrow-tipped orange 24-hour hand. By pointing to the fixed 24-hour marked bezel, the orange 24-hour hand serves as a prominent day or night indicator; vital for those who spend extended periods exploring in hazardous conditions and might otherwise become disorientated.

The watch is in overall very good condition with light wear and markings consistent with usage. Bracelet has light signs of stretch and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. There is a small scratch on the lug. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
