- In the first state, unclipped dust wrapper with Daily Beast to the front panel, with the rare wrap-around band, stating ‘Stop Press’ – Chosen by the Book Society.
The recipient, Elizabeth Herbert was sister to Laura, the author’s second wife (after Evelyn).
