European porcelain vase.

  • Oviform vase flanked by two gilt handles, realistically modeled as lion-like mystical creatures.
  • Finely painted with a genre scene depicting a bare-breasted seated mother, feeding her sleeping baby with her two other kids next to her.
  • Shaped oval cartouche decorated with gilt beads and flower garlands.
  • Back of the vase is painted with a bouquet of flowers against white background within a similar gilt bead and flower garland decorated cartouche.
  • Unmarked, possibly Sèvres.
