George III sterling silver teapot on stand made by Hester Bateman, London.
- Sold as a set of 2.
- Teapot with ovoid body, straight and tapering diagonal spout, capped looping stained-wood handle, and hinged and raised cover with leaf-mounted ovoid stained-wood finial.
- Stand with beaded rim, oval well and tapering sides, and raised on four ball-and-claw feet.
- Both with engraved Neoclassical ornament and vacant armorials.
- Fully marked.
