Description

English Georgian porcelain vase.

  • Made by Chamberlain Worcester in England.
  • A campana form with an orange ground body, overlaid with gilt scrollwork.
  • The front and back are large oval white-bordered panels painted with a profusion of flowers and leaves on a gilt ground.
  • The vase has a square foot with the upper section painted with flowers on a gilt ground.
  • The reeded handles are strongly modeled with bearded satyr faces as terminals.
