English George III sterling silver basket.

  • Made by John W. Story & W. Elliott in London in 1811.
  • Rectilinear with deep well and wide shoulder.
  • Engraved armorials.
  • Gadrooned rim with leaves and scallop shells.
  • Bracket swing handle with applied strapwork cartouche with tooled oval (vacant) and side leaf caps.
  • Foot has lobed border.
  • Fully marked.
