This etching in blue ink is hand signed and dated in pencil by the artist "Emil Nolde 06" at the lower right margin. It is also titled Unterhaltung [Conversation], by the artist’s wife Ada Nolde, in the lower margin. It is additionally hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 20, at the lower left margin. The work is further signed and inscribed by the printer “O. Felsing Berlin gdr.” [Otto Felsing, Berlin Printed], along the lower left platemark. The paper bears the Van Gelder Zonen watermark in the upper right margin.
