The Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Baseball PE was first seen in September 2020 by St Louis Cardinal’s baseball player, Dexter Fowler. During Fowler’s time in the majors, he has sported several retro cleats that have included silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 12, and Air Jordan 13. 

Limited to 12 pairs and made exclusively for Jordan Baseball Athletes, this Jordan 5 Retro takes inspiration from vintage, wool baseball jerseys. The canvas upper, which replaces the traditional leather found on the Jordan 5 silhouette, is contrasted by a navy trim and red branding on the tongue and heels. Additionally, the netting, eye stays, and soles are pre-yellowed. “JRDN BSBL” and “7 of 12” special detailing can be found on the inner tongues, and sunflower seed graphics are featured on the insoles, adding to the baseball motif.
