Description
The reference 1505 was originally patented in the 1930s and in production in the 1950s. The variations of the stainless steel case with gold making up the bezel and winding crown are emblematic of the Swiss giant.
Condition Report
The watch is in overall good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. Case and dial are in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Strap has minimal signs of wear. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
