Description
The first Omega watch was carefully handcrafted by Louis Brandt in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. Brandt established a small workshop in 1848, where he continued to produce and sell his watches to clients around the world. The brand was originally known as Louis Brandt & Fil before rebranding to Omega Watch Co. in 1903. After a long successful 30 years of sale, Brandt passed away in 1879, leaving his business to his sons.
