Description
The Citizen Jet Parawater Auto Dater was released in 1961 and ceased production in 1967. This collection was groundbreaking for the brand since it included the debut of the jet movement featuring a parawater system. The jet movement was the second timepiece released by Citizen that was powered by an automatic movement. The parawater system ensured water and dust resistance. The present example has a non-quick set date complication with a jet engraving on the caseback.

Condition Report
FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age and usage. Case has scratches along with visible scratches at the crystal. Bracelet has scratches and is bent at the 6 o'clock end link. Buckle has been polished. Hands have aged with patina. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
