Chinese export Famille Rose porcelain armorial plate.

  • Arms of John, 5th Viscount Arbuthnott in the center and with the motto Laus Deo (Praise be to God).
  • Inner border with a band of gilt spearheads in the well.
  • Four cartouches enclosing European ships in harbor scenes.
  • The arms have a central shield with blue enamel flanked by colorful dragons.
