Description

The transcribed text reads as follows:
"Elm Cottage Monday Morning
Dear Tom,
I enclose you a formal epistle about Hansard's matter. Also a letter from [Macpherson], to which please to call the attention of our arranger of debts. If it does not exceed 5 £ or 6 £, I should wish here it is paid in full, to me [illegible] most distinctly how much [illegible] cost that way.
Always faithfully,
Charles Dickens"
Rear side:
"You will of course use your own discretion about reading as much or as little of the Hansard letter as you please."
