Description
The Cartier Tank was created in 1917. Since its introduction, it has been recognized as one of the most beautiful timepieces ever created, thanks to its perfect proportions and the timeless design of its dial.
Condition Report
GoodThe case is in overall good condition with light surface wear and previous signs of light polishing. The gold mark on the case band is visible but rubbed. The case back has more visible surface scratches throughout. The service dial is in overall excellent condition. The dial is accompanied by Cartier service papers dated 2019. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
