- One of the Halstonettes in 1970s New York, Elsa Peretti began making jewelry for a handful of fashion designers including Halston and Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo.
- Peretti signed a contract with Tiffany & Co. in 1974 and continues to be a featured designer there today.
