Description
Bucherer started in 1888 when Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened his first watch and jewelry store with his wife Luise in Lucerne. He quickly became renowned for aesthetic, high-quality watch movements. Carl taught his two sons at a very early age about watchmaking, and they later joined the family business. Today, we know Bucherer as an expert watchmaker creating unique timepieces.
Honest Vintage: The Greg Selch Collection
A native New Yorker from a family of connoisseurs, Greg Selch has collected watches for over 20 years, among many other things. Over the years, Selch has become well-known for his passion: “orphan watches” as well as well-worn watches with patina, for which a term has been created: #selchism.

FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case has scratches alongside visible scratches at the crystal. Generic strap has scratches and discoloration at the exterior. Hands have aged with patina. Bezel scratched and is fading. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
