Description
Breitling was founded in 1884 in St. Imier, Switzerland by Léon Breitling. The company has a long history of creating chronographs for use in science, sports and industry. In 1892, the brand moved to larger premises in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1915, Breitling launched a wristwatch featuring a chronograph complication. Gaston Breitling, Léon’s son, had the inspired idea to introduce a push-piece at 2 o’clock to start, stop and reset the chronograph functions.
This Breitling Avenger Black-steel Aguila Real Mexicana limited-edition "Francisco Toledo" was created by Breitling in cooperation with Mexican artist Francisco Toledo in 2012. Part of the proceeds went to the Mexican Natural Conservation Fund in an attempt to save and help repopulate the Mexican royal eagle. The back features special artwork. This limited-edition Avenger reference M13380 FT is a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with chronograph and date, circa 2012, limited to only 250 pieces. Stainless steel case in diameter 45 mm and roughly 17.4 mm thick. The round case is paired with a black color dial with stick-shaped hands, and Arabic numeral hour markers and minute track. Water resistance approximately 300 meters. Automatic in-house Breitling movement, caliber B13. The 25-jewel automatic movement is in diameter 30 mm. Its balance wheel oscillates at 28800 semi-oscillations per hour. Power reserve approximately 42 hours.

GoodThe watch is in overall good condition. Case is in overall good condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
