Léon Breitling founded the Swiss watch brand of the same name in 1884. The company first specialized in high-quality watches and timepieces provided with numerous complications. The company’s next generation was enthused with aviation, and concentrated the production on special timepieces and measuring instruments for sports and aeronautics. The best-known models are the Chronomat, Cockpit, Avenger, Colt, Navitimer, Superocean and Aerospace.
This SuperOcean reference A17360 is a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with date, self-winding caliber B17 automatic movement, featuring a 42mm stainless steel case surrounding a blue dial on a stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date and 24-hour indicator.
