Description
The Type XX is one of the most famous and historic pilot's watch models in history, made by the historic maison of Breguet and created for the French Air Force in the 1950s. The enduring design has remained largely unchanged throughout the years, but elevated to match Breguet's pursuit of horological excellence. The present example is one such elevated example, cased in luxurious pink gold.
Condition Report
Very GoodThe watch is in very good condition with light signs of surface wear. The case back engravings and hallmarks are crisp. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
