- Rectangular with straight sides.
- Hinged cover with triangular tab.
- Gilt cover interior.
- Enameled scene with four mounted jockeys in bright silks.
- Engraved 'Freiwilligen-Schule / 1901/02.'
- Original leather-bound wood case.
- Fully marked, including maker's stamp 'G.A.S.'
