• Fine contemporary Italian embroidered binding, on gray silk, incorporating on both covers the arms of the Archbishop, in shades of red, green, blue, and gray thread, surrounded by wide and elaborate borders, surmounted by the Archbishops hat in black, multiple borders embroidered with gold thread, pale blue silk doublures, fine silk ties with gold brocaded ends, all edges gilt, housed in a quarter red morocco slipcase, ribbed gilt decorated spine. 

This copy was specially bound for presentation to Benedetto (Benedicto) Latilla, General Abbot of the Lateran Regular Canons, to whom the book is dedicated, and whose arms are on both covers.
