Arthur Wilde Parsons (British, 1854-1931).

A marine and landscape painter, Arthur Wilde Parsons (sometimes also referred to as Alfred Wilde Parsons) exhibited successfully throughout the United Kingdom, including at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham; Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts; Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; Manchester City Art Gallery; Royal Academy (1895, 1902); Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street; New Water-Colour Society and Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. After studying locally in Bristol, Parsons visited Holland and Italy (1911) for study trips which left a lasting impact on his work.
