An American sterling silver desk frame made by Unger Brothers.
- Oval window in wide-bodied surround with lobed trefoil top and stumpy bracket supports.
- Allover leafing scrollwork and floppy flowerheads acid-etched on front; at top, scrolled cartouche (vacant).
- With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support.
- Fully marked including maker’s stamp.
