Description
Austrian silver-gilt and enamel reliquary.
- Pierced and decorated with multicolored enamels.
- Sides set with carved rock crystal panels and a carved plaque depicting a crest of the city of Vienna. The hinged lid opens to reveal a compartment to store religious relics.
- Hallmarked Austrian-Hungarian assay city letter A (Vienna), circa 1880, maker's mark RL for Rudolf Linke.
