Description

An American sterling silver and glass decanter.

  • Tapering quadrilateral bowl with cut bead-and-real corners and faceted shoulder, and upward tapering neck.
  • Mouth same in silver collar.
  • Bowl overlay in the form of entwined and pell-mell wheat stalks; at bottom, stop fluting overlaid on front with lozenge frame with “Rye” in open letters and on back another lozenge frame (vacant).
  • Silver marked “Sterling” and numbered “320.”
