An American sterling silver and glass decanter.
- Bottle with straight sides, curved shoulder and cylindrical neck.
- Silver mouth collar; stopper same with cork plug.
- Overlay in form of entwined and scrolling tendrils with thistle heads.
- Leafing scrolled cartouche engraved with three-letter block monogram (HGL).
- Glass is clear.
- Overlay and stopper marked “Sterling.”
